The Motorists Insurance Group, an insurance industry leader based in Columbus, Ohio has an outstanding opportunity to join our Marketing leadership team as Assistant Vice President.  This critical Home Office position leads all property/casualty marketing activities for Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  The selected candidate will manage and direct the development of premium growth and profitability objectives, new business commercial underwriting, and drive superior sales service and production assistance.  Selection criteria include:

* Deep understanding of commercial lines property/casualty underwriting and sales/marketing

* Successful history of strong relationships with independent agencies

* Proven visionary with short- and long-term planning skills

* Proven ability to lead/inspire professional staff

* Superior communication and problem solving skills

* Minimum of 5 years applicable property/casualty experience, at least 2 years in management

* CPCU and/or a bachelor degree in insurance, loss control, or business management strongly desired.
